As Product Manager your responsibility will be to ensure that all sales opportunities are maximised, through sourcing, purchasing and negotiating.

Client Details

An expanding, trade and consumer travel operator based in Liverpool.


As the Product Manager you will be responsible for -

- Developing, planning and executing the product strategy

- Account manage suppliers and carry out regular business reviews

- Analysing potential partner relationships for the product

- Negotiate highly competitive commercial terms (contracts, offers, incentives and sales & marketing agreements) and ensure that terms and conditions are adhered to

- Monitor performance i.e. sales, profit, targets, service delivery, pricing, yield and margins

- Monitor and analyse sales / trends / availability / competitor activity, provide recommendations and work in partnership with the sales & marketing teams to put tactical measures in place

- Preparation and review of supplier booking figures

- Drive forward tactical pricing strategies to drive sales and/or margin

- Research and implement ad-hoc promotions to encourage and maximise sales

- Drive forward NPD strategy and communicate product developments to team members

- Working with customer services to handle product complaints in a timely manner - ensuring the best outcome for the business

- Work with the Agency teams to optimise brand awareness in the market place

- Daily website testing to ensure functionality is in full working order and search results are displayed correctly


The successful Product Manager will have -

- Previous experience of sourcing and negotiating products within the travel sector

- Knowledge of direct contracting and setting up third party partnerships

- Strong communication skills

- A strong team player

- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure

- Negotiation skills
