Salary: £38,000 - £40000 per annum

Job Description:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health Advisor based in Liverpool on a permanent basis.

There is the option for this Occupational Health Advisor role to be a full or part time role - 3-5 days per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Health Advisor to work for a well-respected and successful Occupational Health provider.

My client is looking for a very experienced Occupational Health Advisor who can work autonomously and hit the ground running.

My client is looking to give as much back to the Occupational Health Advisor as they will be giving to the company. They are keen to stimulate and help their Occupational Health Advisors grow and develop and are involved with the continual development of their Occupational Health Advisors with study days and team building opportunities.

Job Requirements:
This will be a predominantly peripatetic Occupational Health Advisor position covering local businesses in the area.

The main duties of the Occupational Health Advisor are the full Occupational Health remit, specifically:

• Management Referrals- giving specific fitness for work advice and close working relations with HR.
• Health assessments including audiometry, spriometry, fitness testing (chester step test), drug and alcohol testing, BP, height, weight and health interview
• Attendance at Health and Safety meetings and close working with the H&S Officer
• Immunisations for Tetanus, diphtheria and polio and Hep A and some year's flu.

As an Occupational Health Advisor you will be based in Merseyside in a peripatetic role offering services on site as and when is needed. You must be able to travel around the local area on a daily basis.
Thus the Occupational Health Advisor must own their own vehicle and be able to transport equipment when needed.

Skills/ Qualifications:
To be considered for this excellent Occupational Health Advisor opportunity you must be a Registered Nurse.

Degrees or diplomas in Occupational Health or in training for this is essential.

To be successful the Occupational Health Advisor must be highly experienced, be able to work autonomously, and capable of giving very specific and clear feedback in your referrals, especially with regards for fitness to work.

You must be a capable and competent Occupational Health Advisor who can handle pressure, have the ability to build rapport with clients, self-motivated, approachable, flexible, and good at problem solving.
