The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for delivering a combination of primarily electrical skill sets, basic mechanical, water and building fabric planned, reactive and extra works across the site specialising in Electrical based disciplines. The engineering Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring safe delivery, customer focused, cost effective, efficient and compliant service in order to meet its contractual and legal obligations.

The Electrical Supervisor in Newbury:

- Management of M&E engineers, contractors and equipment on site.
- Monthly reporting of KPI's and Statutory Compliance.
- Carrying out required fault finding to plant and equipment.
- Responsible for M&E works across site.
- Tool Box Talks.
- Fault finding and repairs/servicing of equipment carrying out checks.
- Supervising subcontractors on site and issuing appropriate paperwork.
- Budget controls for planned preventative maintenance and reactive works.
- Liaising with Key stakeholders and Senior Managers on a monthly basis.
- Operational knowledge and experience of Building Management Systems.
- Ability to manage teams, together with planned and reactive tasks to achieve contractual SLA's.
- Willing to undertake & complete the appropriate 1 to 1 's.
- Willing to complete people management activities such sickness return to work but not limited too.
- Willing to undertake site based activities outside of normal hours when required in agreement with site management team.
- Ability to understand financial budgets discretionary spend.
- Accountable for all elements of SLA and KPI delivery.
- Perform all work to specification meeting the required standards.
- Take full responsibility and ownership of all assigned tasks, carrying out skilled planned maintenance, repair and improvements.
- Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant.
- Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings.
- Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas.
- Identify extra work requirements and provide details of required material and labour estimate to enable client quotes to be issued.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness by identifying opportunities to reduce costs, travel and waste.


The ideal Electrical Supervisor will have working knowledge of Data Centres or similar Critical Environments, including the following:

- High Voltage Electrical Systems, Low Voltage Electrical Systems, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Fire Suppression Systems.
- Have experience of the Mechanical and Electrical services within a modern Data Centre and a working knowledge of Statutory and non-Statutory compliance.
- Supervising a small team of Engineers and Specialist Sub Contractors, the successful candidate will be responsible for the SLAs and KPIs within the Data Centre.
- Live within 1 hour commute of Newbury.
