Key Account Manager - Textile Facilities Management Service

Basic £25,000 + Bonus + Car + Hols + Pension + Share save, Benefits


My client is a sector leading textile services facilities management provider. Their main business activity is the provision of business to business laundry and textile service solutions that operate across multiple divisions. They support their clients with a total commitment to quality of product and service. They have a culture of openness and respect to their employees


My client has an opportunity for a Key Account Management professional to join the team covering the East Scotland region and we would like to hear from professionals living in and around;

Edinburgh, Perth, Falkirk, Stirling Livingston, Motherwell

The role is a FIELD BASED client facing account management and customer service role that forms part of a team in a site that has a turnover of around £10m with around 200 people.

Your role will mainly involve managing the client relationship of a large number of accounts although there is a small commercial management piece and the role can be broken down into the following 2 areas:

Customer Service Management - Service Level Reviews, KPI monitoring, complaints, quality audits, general administration duties.

Account Management - contract renewals, service up-selling, pricing changes, other commercial factors

In addition to building strong client relationships you will also be expected to be a strong team player and create equally beneficial partnerships with your internal colleagues covering; production, transport and engineering

You will be expected to anaylise data and produce reports for your clients which measure the service performance against KPI's

The role is mainly field based with the remainder office based and reports to the site Customer Services Manager.


This is a role that has a mix of customer services, account management and administration tasks. You will need to have experience of the following skills.

- Customer facing field experience - Account Management NOT new business sales
- Exceptional organisation skills - diary management, journey planning, task prioritisation.
- Strong administration skills
- Effective time management
- Problem solver
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience of service contracts would be useful
