Chef Manager - Wakefield

Permanent - £20 - 24K

40 hours per week Monday - Friday (however full flexibility is essential)

A talented and experienced Chef Manager is required to manage and develop a customer focused restaurant and hospitality service provided to the West Yorkshire area. The role is key to ensure that all catering services are delivered to the contractual agreement in an efficient and effective manner within budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities:

- To ensure that the retail area reaches the targeted GP% and to ensure that any changes are effectively managed

- To drive new initiatives within the catering department and lead on all change management processes.

- To build staff and visitor satisfaction rates and to continual strive for best practice.

- Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures

About you:

- Previous experience of budget management is essential.

- Ability to comply with any local or companywide financial standing instructions.

- You will be the line manager of Food Service Assistants and other catering staff.

- You will be site-based and will be expected to be regularly visible in retail areas to appraise performance and engage with customers.

The role is based at a secure facility and therefore the successful candidate will be required to complete security clearance/background checks.
