About the Role: Our client are currently are seeking an experienced Site Manager for Primary School project based in Harrow, North London as part of the EFA Schools framework. Their main responsibilities will be to assist the Project Manager with the effective implementation of the Project Specific H&S plan, Mange the onsite labour, plant and procurement teams, whilst maximizing client satisfaction. They will be expected to work alongside the Project Manager, Commercial Team and site agents, to select subcontractors and ensure that subcontractors appointed to work on site are competent both in technical and safety matters. This role will include people cost management, ensuring all matters on site run smoothly.

Main Responsibilities Include:

To Report on Project Key Performance Indicators. 
Development of Improvement Plan for Production Department. 
To conduct supplier and subcontractor performance assessments. 
To review design documents prior to commencing works. 
To determine Subcontract Packages. 
Contract Review – during contract period. 
To approve Work Orders and Purchase Orders. 
To maintain list of approved suppliers and subcontractors and reviews purchasing and subcontract data. 
To endorse Subcontractors and Suppliers’ payment certificates. 
To advise on contractual matters with regard to subcontractors and supply contracts. 
Regular communication with the sites. 
Responsible for the community relations. 
Train newly mobilised staff to Company processes. 

About the benefits / rewards: The salary will be dependant on level of exposure to industry and experience on related projects. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary around £50,000 - £60,000. The package will also include various benefits relating to travel and healthcare.

Requirements: Candidates must have direct and relatable industry experience. Experience of Site Management is a must. The preferred candidate would have had experience at a top level main contractor working on education projects (EFA Framework preferred) and looking for a permanent and long term role.
