Permanent, full time Technical Services Support Technician, Electrical Bias, Manchester. £30 - £35K DOE.

Your new company

You will work in the Manchester office for a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. This organisation are responsible for a vast portfolio of properties across the North West, and pride themselves on excellent customer service while working to very tight SLAs.


Your new role

You will essentially be a No.2 to the Technical Services Manager, and will be responsible for a multitude of tasks. These will include, but will not be limited to the delivery of clear, concise briefings of technical issues to non-technical colleagues, and supporting the technical services team with audits and compliance processes. You will oversee and effectively manage the smooth transition of work from Project teams to FM teams, and will manage post-incident Technical reviews alongside management staff.

What's more, you will be afforded the opportunity to lead and manage your own self-performed projects and will lead and manage any additional quoted works, ensuring that all are correctly and accurately priced, mobilised and delivered in a timely manner while managing relationships with key stakeholders.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who has good experience on the tools as is looking to move to an office based position. Candidates with an electrical bias, particularly with experience with HVAC, F-Gas, would have an advantage.


What you'll need to succeed

Your strong, proven experience in a Technical capacity within the Facility Management sector, and experience within Technical / FM operations preferably in a Retail environment, will be key to your success in this position. You will need sound knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety and regulatory requirements, and a solid understanding of maintenance processes.

Further to this, you will need to be computer literate, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and will need to get your findings across with strong verbal and written communication, combined with excellent relationship management / influencing skills. You will need to think on your feet and work to our own initiative as well as part of a team.


What you'll get in return

This role will be paying up to £35k for the right candidate, and comes with a company car. You will work 40 hours per week, with usual office hours between 8.00 - 16.30.
