A leading global specialist manufacturing business with consistent and continued growth have a fantastic and unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join them as Health & Safety Co-ordinator based at their site in Denbighshire.
Working as part of a close knit management team you will join a business that is in a major growth stage with new acquisitions across the globe and an order book that is secure.
Your new role
Reporting directly into the Quality Director you will be fully responsible for all health, safety & environment across the operational site of 300 staff ensuring continuous improvement and development as well as consistent adherence.
You will be responsible as lead for all budgetary and external compliance measures including liaising with external governing bodies when needed.
Day to day you will be responsible for the review and implementation of all policies as well as advising all levels of business to ensure achievement.
You will be responsible for the continued success of all ISO management systems performing audits and inspections as well as liaising with external auditing bodies.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role it is essential that you are qualified to a minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate level with experience working within a fast paced production driven environment, a Diploma level qualification would be highly desirable.
It is essential that you are able to work autonomously confidently, comfortable taking the lead, putting forward new ideas and developing all areas within your remit.
You will be confident communicating across all levels able to build great working relationships with operatives and management alike to influence and advise towards a great safety culture.
An ISO auditing qualification would also be desirable.
