Systems Accountant Highly Regarded Plc
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen with a highly regarded Plc based in Liverpool City Centre for a Systems Accountant on an initial 12 month contract. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced finance leader with exposure to working closely with various ERP systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding and exciting organisation with potential to develop beyond the initial 12 month period.
The Systems Accountant will be responsible for:·Identification and implementation of process improvements within the ERP system·Liaising with various business unit managers to ensure they are utilising the system correctly and to its full capacity·Managing a team to investigate queries and issues raised by other members of staff in relation to the system·Regularly updating and maintaining the systems integrity , making amendments and carrying out testing where necessary
Ideally you will have/be:·Experience managing a small and dedicated team of 3-4 staff·Previous experience working with either Oracle or JD Edwards essential·Previous experience working in an accounting focussed role beneficial, specifically with exposure to month end procedures·Advanced Excel skills – Pivot Tables, V Look Ups·Able to start at short notice
