Customer Service Manager
Head of Customer Service job, based in Dartford, £55,000 + per annum working for specialist retailer.

This specialist house furnishing retailer are looking to recruit a Head of Customer Services to lead, manage and develop the internal UK Customer Service team.
Your new role
Your main objective in your new role will be to ensure customer expectations are exceeded whilst meeting company financial and performance objectives, overseeing processes and developing systems. You will be managing the day to day operations of ordering, returns, technical support and queries, working closely with your team of 40 representative and supervisors. It is important that you have experience in managing SLAs, KPIs and generally managing and reviewing performance. You will also be involved with on boarding and continual training of staff, ensuring the CS team and business are performing optimally.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working with in a similar product based Customer Service Management role, will get you off to a flying start in your new position. Your ability to create strong working relationships with stakeholders, internally and externally will be essential. You must be able to multitask and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbally. You must be computer literate, proficient on Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel as you will be required to analyse data and report to senior management. A knowledge of Sage is desirable. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of sales, order processing, credit control/ finance, logistics and marketing with in a Customer Service environment.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a salary of £55,000 + per annum. Your working hours will be from 8:30 - 17:30 with an hour lunch. You will be working in lovely, modern, easily accessible offices with a friendly team and free onsite parking.
