2nd-3rd Line Support Engineer

Salary up to £30,000 p.a. + Excellent Benefits

As a 2nd-3rd Line Support Engineer you will be responsible for giving and implementing improvements for clients, testing infrastructure delivery, and providing training to an internal IT support team. You will be supporting infrastructure requirements and processes beyond break-fix, you will be responsible for escalations from the service desk team, and you may have extensive client interaction.

You will be offered a competitive salarybetween £25-30,000 p.a. depending on experience technical skills. 2nd-3rd Line Support Requirements

·Must have a highly technical 2nd-3rd line support background assisting multiple users and clients with IT issues, preferably in a Managed Services environment

·Strong experience in a Windows based environment and able support Windows Server

·Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office 365

·Extensive experience working with virtualisation solutions, preferably VMware

·Able to support storage systems

·Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange

·Networking skills with ability to configure Firewalls, TCP/IP, Routers and VLANS

·MCSA, MCSE or VCP certified is desirable - or equivalent experience with Microsoft Windows Server and VMware related disciplines

·Experience in the practical application of ITIL practises and procedures would be a great advantage

The role will involve high level technical input with strong experience in a Windows based environment. You must be capable of working independently without the need to be micro-managed.

Working Hours: Standardoffice hours Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm, however some flexibility on hours may be required. Due to the nature of this position, you will be required to participate in the on-call rota which is fully expensed to your benefit.
