Finance Analyst - Project Office - SAP Purchasing - PO's - Administration - Analysis

My client a leading utilities organisation are seeking a Finance Analyst with previous experience of working within IT projects / programmes. With expertise in SAP Purchasing and project workflows the successful candidate will also have a basic understanding of financial models.

Candidates must display a rudimentary understanding of what a business case is, be able to pull out costs and understand present net value, risks and benefits. The ability to make financial interpretations and analyse financial data is also a must.

Typical duties will include:
  • Reading an investment proposal and pulling facts from it
  • Analysing financial data from business cases
  • Detailing and presenting financial interpretations
  • Raising purchase orders
  • Dealing with invoices
  • Liaising with and negotiating with Project Mangers

Key Skills
  • Financial analysis experience within IT projects
  • SAP Purchasing / Project Workflows expertise
  • Financial model interpretation experience
  • Strong administration experience
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment
