Your new company
This well known business is a leading supplier of traditional and sustainable materials to major brand customers. With circa 4,500 employees and operations across the UK and Northern Europe, they are committed to helping create a better environment. Due to increased production, the Coalville site is looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to work across two arms of the business.

Your new role
A key member of the Engineering Department at the Coalville site and reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you are responsible for coordination of the department to drive towards maintenance excellence across both divisions. You will create and manage all work orders; coordinate parts, tools and manpower; and own and manage the lubrication chart and schedule. You will be responsible for creating a detailed weekly schedule and driving compliance. Work planning and work load balancing will be achieved by interfacing with plant management, the order office, contractors and your own labour to compile the site production and maintenance plan. Aiding with planning major shutdowns and outages will also be a key part of your role.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience as a Maintenance Planner within a manufacturing environment to succeed in this job. You will hold a Level 3 (minimum) safety qualification and be IT literate. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisation, planning and time management skills as well as being able to solve problems and innovate to provide new solutions. You have a questioning and inquisitive personality, and are committed to excellence in both safety and operational performance. You will be an excellent communicator and be able to prioritise workloads. Keen, organised, meticulous and experienced in engineering and manufacturing processes, your contribution is key to driving a strong safety and continuous improvement culture focused on achieving operational excellence.
