Your new company
You will work in the Edinburgh office of a successful financial services company. Due to an increase in work they have an urgent requirement for an experienced accounts assistant with recent accounts payable experience.
Your new role
You will work within the finance team and be responsible for accounts payable, expense processing and supporting with month end processes. You will deal with queries from internal and external stakeholders and be expected to narrate results of data analysis to finance and non finance staff. This is a varied role that will suit someone who likes variety and a fast pace.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience within financial services as an accounts assistant. You will have recent experience of purchase ledger, reconciliations and ledger postings. Experience producing MI and budgets would be advantageous. You should be a self starter who is used to working independently. You should have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a busy team. As this role is working within a bank you must be able to pass a credit check and provide 5 years' worth of references. You should also be immediately available for work or on one weeks' notice.
