They are currently recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their Harrogate, North Yorkshire based team.

Job Description

·Complete all balance sheet reconciliations monthly, including intercompany accounts, for review by the UK Financial Accountant.

·Contribute to the preparation of the full year Financial Accounts and audit, developing to audit liaison point for one or more companies

·A focus on process and analysis improvements.

·Assist in migration of Fixed Asset Register from Excel spreadsheets to company ERP

·Develop cross Company working relationships.

·Work with the wider Finance team to continue to develop strong and cost-effective financial processes and controls across the Company.

Essential qualifications:

·New or part qualified accountant (Study support available), ideally ACCA.

·Previous Financial Accounts experience.

·Strong IT skills, Excel proficient.

·Good communication skills, both written and spoken.

Essential experience:

·More than two years’ experience supporting the preparation and review of Financial Accounts and meeting deadlines.

For this role, you will need to be a proactive self-starter who can work on your own initiative and as part of wider Finance and Operational teams. You must be able to demonstrate experience and working knowledge of Financial Accounts. Ideally you will also have previous experience of using Sage X3 but full training will be provided.

The role will allow the candidate to gain a wide range of experience in a respected Group with ambitious future growth plans.
