Highly respected Engineering company based in Falmouth, Cornwall are looking to recruit a permanent Reliability Electro-Mechanical Engineer.

Operational duties:

- Reactive and planned maintenance, fault-finding,

repair and cleaning of our site facilities, plant and equipment. This will cover but is not restricted to: Fanuc CNC machining centres, small overhead cranes, industrial lathes, motors, pumps, compressors, BMS controls, AHU's, A/C units, small conveyor systems/haul offs, sealing machinery, PLC automated production lines, industrial ovens and wet scrubber systems.

- Maintain essential stock of replacement equipment and components.

- Source, re-work and fit parts as needed.

- Support the installation and commissioning of plant and equipment.

Operational standards:

- Operate in line with GMP principles and with company policies, procedures and processes in force and as amended from time to time.

- Respond promptly and professionally to production/facility emergency situations/urgent issues as they arise.

- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to inform your work and to ensure compliance with their recommendations. Experience

- Qualified electro-mechanical engineer (minimum HND level qualification and time served apprenticeship) with necessary understanding and experience of electronic control systems.

- Sufficient industrial experience to provide first-line support in high quality, fast moving production environments.

- Proven competence with application of FMEA, QCPC, risk and root-cause analysis techniques.

- Practical understanding of relevant health, safety, environmental and, ideally, GMP legislation and standards (GMP training will be provided)

- Evidence of clear, concise technical communication skills.

- The ability to read and produce technical drawings and electronic schematics. Observe all safety procedures and follow good engineering practices.

- Self-prioritise work schedule when necessary.

- Respond to breakdowns as identified by Facilities Manager

- Show a proactive approach, good at problem solving and be a team player. - Liaise with all other departments to understand site problems.

- Take ownership of engineering issues which can be mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, PLC.

- Identify and order spares to facilitate plant efficiency. - Role involves days only work .
