As PPC Executive, you’ll be reporting to the Head of Ecommerce, and responsible specifically for the areas of PPC and Digital Marketing (display, programmatic, retargeting) and their trading performance, as part of a wider ecommerce trading strategy. 2017 sees us looking to build up our key EU marketplaces – largely via PPC and SEO initially - whilst continuing to increase our UK market share.

The role requires hands-on PPC experience due to the scale and how closely you’ll be helping manage the international accounts, where you’ll be managing campaigns on your own largely without agency backup. You’ll also be responsible for growing traffic and sales through display/retargeting/programmatic campaigns as well as finding new sources and generating new leads through existing, and new, agencies and travel partners.

While you’ll already be skilled in PPC and digital marketing, you will also need to be keen to progress these skills. On the trading side, you’ll be working to maximise margins in the competitive travel sector. Possessing both an analytical approach to work, plus a creative flair, you’ll be web-aware and above all brimming with great ideas, and the passion to drive ideas through to execution and follow-up.


At least 2 years of solid, hands-on PPC experienceExperience of conceiving digital marketing campaigns – ideally including programmatic – as well as success with lead generationExcellent data analysis skills, particularly Google Analytics and AdWords – understand the numbers behind the trafficCommercially orientedExcellent organisational, planning & time management skillsA passion for online trading, digital marketing and new & emerging technologiesStrong attention to detail & numeracyCreative flair, with capacity for original thoughtSelf-starter; able to go from idea, to prototype, to execution flawlesslyConfident telephone manner, experience working with external agencies (PPC & others)Strong written and spoken English & at least one other European language desiredKnowledge of all areas of Microsoft Office and confident in the online spaceAwareness of importance of good customer service with all stakeholders (internal and external)Good technical abilities – able to communicate with developers for bugs and developmentsDegree educated preferredKEY RELATIONSHIPS
