We are working with a highly successful Pensions Administration Company to help them employee an enthusiastic and dedicated individual into their vacancy as a Senior Pensions Administrator.

Within this role you will be focused administering both defined contribution and defined benefit pension schemes. You will be responsible for communicating effectively with clients, employees, and advisers to ensure you are managing your portfolio of clients to the highest standard. You will prepare manual and computer generated benefit calculations, aswell as carrying out and checking cash handling and accounting functions to client pension and related arrangements. On a regular basis you will be processing and checking pensioner payrolls, including calculation of net pay, arranging payments, liaison with tax office and preparation of year end returns. This role will also include preparing annual benefit statements, preparing annual accounts and carrying out calculations and tasks involved in working on PPF Schemes.

To be successful in this role you must be able to identify and solve potential problems using your own initiative before they develop further and you must demonstrate an ability to attend to the intricate details in every task.

To be considered for this role you must have previous pensions administration experience and possess superior knowledge of both defined contribution and defend benefit pension schemes and understand the regulation around these. It is also desirable to have a relevant degree, QPA or some progression towards PMI examinations although this is not essential. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of Microsoft office programmes, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook.
