Infrastructure engineer | Cisco and Linux | London | £35k-£40k

My client are an exciting company operating as a service provider within a very niche industry. This means they are using a variety of cutting-edge technology exposing their staff to infrastructure technology that is elsewhere difficult to find. They are passionate about development and growth of their engineers and have a combination of theoretical and practical training programmes to ensure the infrastructure engineer gets as much out of them as possible.

The ideal infrastructure engineer will possess the following skills:

·Experience supporting both network and server technologies; Cisco, Juniper and Linux are the key technologies here

·Experience in a service provider environment, working on MPLS networks as well as possessing knowledge on BGP, IS-IS and OSPF

·Knowledge within various flavours of Linux; Debian, CentOS, Redhat, Unix, Ubuntu

·The ability to lead a team of other infrastructure engineers and act as an escalation infrastructure engineer where necessary
