Sales Manager - International Sportswear Brand - Guildford
Based our of our clients head office in Guildford, the appointed candidate will help add strength to the sales and marketing team. Our client is aiming to become the number one triathlon brand in the world and there is currently a huge amount of potential for growth overseas.The role will therefore include:·Become a country manager and look after all sales and marketing activity·Understanding, planning and implementing export strategies in line with business aims·Identifying and developing new and emerging overseas markets·Reviewing existing distributors’ performance and setting targets·Appointing new distributors as appropriate·Providing sales support, applications advice and technical product training to distributors·Monitoring and reporting on market trends, competitor activities·Working closely with the marketing team on sponsored events, athletes, partnerships etc.It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining this fast growth business which is setting benchmarks in terms of performance. They have been extremely successful in the UK and are now looking to replicate that around the globe. The candidate must be extremely hard working, have a passion for sport, business and building relationships. First class customer service is a necessity. This is a management role based in our clients Guildford office but there is likely to be oversea travel at least five times per year.The ideal candidate will need to have a minimum of 2 years sales experience on a B2B basis within the retail sportswear marketplace.
