Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Buyer to join our Commercial team. Reporting to the Buying Manager, this role delivers the buying and ranging strategy through carrying out the sourcing plan within the prescribed category delivering the right product at the right time for customers with maximum cost effectiveness. 

The Role

To promote best practice and working relations with the store networkTo ensure that the customer is able to buy from a wide range of products and rangesIdentify range opportunities with the Buying ManagerTo provide the link between the supply chain and distributionTo enhance supplier relationships and promote brandReview current sourcing methods and suppliers to ensure value for money and ethical sourcingTo provide the business with real time data on competition, current trends and fashionEnsure business risk to currency and region is effectively managedTo review the price point structure and create a range architectureTo ensure a market leading range based on colour, design quality and style at all timesTo source ‘exclusive’ ranges bespoke for Topps customersEnsure good exit plan for discontinued stockImprove gross margin and category salesReduce stock capacityOverall accountability for product spendThe Person
