IT Systems Developer - Visual Studio and SQL Server

Location: Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, inc benefits

We require a Systems Developer to join a Systems and IT team based in the Stockton On Tees.

The Systems Developer is responsible for the maintenance, modification and development of a bespoke Service Management System, Intranet and other software systems.

The role is a key member of a small, dynamic development team, working with the latest Microsoft products such as Visual Studio and SQL Server.

This challenging role requires a range of technical skills as well as liaising closely with end users to ensure requirements are met.

You will be responsible for carrying out major projects to enhance the future development of PLASMa Software development to support

Main Duties will include:

  • Provide development support for all the companies systems including Sage and PLASMa.
  • Assist with specification & requirements gathering.
  • Assist with developing & implementing reports & system enhancements.
  • Manage workflow, and control code modifications through the use of TFS.
  • Follow system standards and participate in developing such standards.
  • Assist in the testing and deployment of system enhancements.
  • Assist with helpdesk escalations relating to in-house systems.
  • Provide support and assistance to IT Team.
  • Carry out any additional system based tasks as required.

Experience Required:

  • This role would suit a skilled developer with approximately 18 months - 2 years of commercial experience.

Required Skills:

  • Visual Studio, Web Services, ASP.NET, C#, SQL

Beneficial Skills:

  • CRM (SplendidCRM/Sales Plus), TypeScript / Javascript, AngularJS, Entity Framework,Team Foundation Server
