This established, successful and fast growing company is one of the major players in their field. They design and build infrastructure services and multi utility connections for Industrial, Commercial and House Building sectors throughout the UK. Financially sound, they are embarking on a period of positive change and have a requirement for a talented Business Development Manager for their Residential sector.

Working from home and covering the Midlands area, you will be tasked, primarily with developing new business whilst resurrecting dormant accounts and growing existing business across Main Contractors, Consultants, Developers and End Users in you area. Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and winning future business as well as assessing current clients with a view to developing strategies for future growth. The brief will also see you working in collaboration with the Design team in order to write and deliver high quality, winning pitches. You will also have the support of an Internal Account Manager.

I’m looking forward to hearing of your outstanding, progressive track record developing new, and managing existing business within the Construction or Utility connections sectors via the specification route to market. You’ll be able to demonstrate a wealth of strong, longstanding multi contact point relationships across Main Contractors, Consultants, Developers, Architects and End users and will be able to qualify projects both technically and commercially. You’ll have already enjoyed success within a National sales environment and will be used to working with a support team. You must be highly numerate, analytical and IT literate and able to quickly assimilate complex information. You’ll be used to a dynamic, fast growing organisation and will readily embrace change. It goes without saying that you’ll be a terrific influencer who is both persuasive and ambitious and has developed a real will to win. Your outstanding communication skills, collaborative style and team ethos will go a long way in this hard working, innovative organisation.
