Job Description FM Regulatory Operations is Global Financial Markets Operations (FMO) function responsible for delivering post-trade OTC regulatory compliance through execution and oversight of key Operational processes and controls, such as Global OTC Derivative, MIFID and Regional Trade Reporting, EMIR and DFA Risk Mitigation and Mandatory Clearing. FM Regulatory Operations requires a motivated candidate to take the lead on a number of key Regional Reporting Requirements, primarily DGSD, Bank of England Reporting, Bank of Israel Reporting amongst other regulations to be delivered in 2017 Key Roles & Responsibilities - Manage day to day processes and controls across an array of regional regulations and reporting requirements thereof. - To assist in developing and delivering a variety of Regulatory Control and Risk Monitoring processes in support of the Deposit Guarantee Scheme Directive and other Regional Reporting requirements - Work closely with Risk , Compliance , Finance and Legal advisors to ensure compliance and adherence to DGSD regulations and best practice guidelines - Monitor Operational work-flows, related outputs and static data ensuring accountability and scrutiny of DGSD regulatory relevant MI - Align the key operational processes and controls adhering to the banksRegulatory Reporting Control Standards - Ensure that the controls being implemented are effective at mitigating cause of process failure, and any gaps are well articulated through the Operational Risk Framework - Develop and increase the DGSD technical knowledge of the other members of the Client Asset Control Team to ensure the capability exists for them to work effectively and in close co-operation with colleagues in other functions - Ensure the control measurements (KCI and CSTs) are appropriately defined, measured and captured within the Operational Risk Framework - Ensure that the key risk indicators (KRIs) are appropriately defined, measured and captured within the Operational Risk Framework - Capture residual compliance and operational risk issues and define the appropriate remediation activities for consideration in the 2018 budgets - Provide high quality status updates to senior FM Operations management as requested and at appropriate juncture Qualifications & Skills - Strong track record for delivering effective controls and efficient processes in an FM Operations environment - Domain expertise across financial markets products, preferably in the context of post-trade OTCD regulations such as DGSD, BoE Reporting, BoI Reporting - Working knowledge of the front to back trade lifecycle for derivatives, including associated market infrastructure providers and capabilities - Strong stakeholder management ensuring high quality communication, transparency and objective prioritization - Analytical mindset, attention to detail - Proficient presentation/communication skills - Demonstrable strong teamwork with internal and external groups
