Highly respected company based in Falmouth, Cornwall are looking to recruit a 'technical' Product Manager.
Working with the existing Product Manager they are looking for an individual with a balance of technical and commercial capabilities.You will provide business leadership to bridge between the sales teams and the factory, driving continued new product development.

In this role you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the growth and overall success of the product range. From a clear understanding of your market and customer needs, you will sell your vision to the business through a product strategy, following your products through development and all aspects of the life cycle.

Essential responsibilities include

Identify profitable opportunities for growth, developing winning business cases including product positioningConnect with customers to understand their needs, translating this into product requirements and strategy, with an ability to clearly articulating those needs within the organisationCoordinating stakeholders and market needs to define, plan and implement product launch and marketing strategies to end user marketsManage all aspects of the product life cycle, monitoring and reporting on the in-market activity, responding with tactical development and marketing activities to ensure continued profitability and growthQualification/requirements

Formal education in engineering, science or marketing discipline to degree level, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant fieldExperience of developing long term product strategies and delivering growth through development of a product range, with direct product management experience in a B2B environment beneficialSelf-motivated, with a strong eye for detail, using your initiative to drive innovationClarity of thought and ability to communicate at all levels both within and outside the company. Strong interpersonal skills, able to align the business to your strategic vision
