Are you looking to become a full time Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a Production/Manufacturing environment?

If so this may be the role for you!

With manufacturing facilities located across Leicester we now require an Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the Maintenance Team. The work environment is clean, warm and modern and offers a technically focused hands on role with variation including - projects, installations, maintenance and service.

We are looking for motivated skilled engineers, who wish to work in a automated production and manufacturing environment. Maintaining PLC automated machinery.

Salary: £31,000 rising to £32,000 on completion of your 3 month probation period
Hours/Shift: 4on 4off 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am

Location: Leicester - Glenfield

Benefits: Pension, 20 days holiday, Training courses funded my the company

Background required: Must be electrically qualified with industrial or production/manufacturing maintenance experience.

Essential Skills required:

*Electrical qualifications - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND or equivalents

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:

*To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.

*Provide technical electrical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns


The ideal Trainee Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:

Time served apprenticeship
17th edition electrically qualified
PLC experience for Fault Finding beneficial
Familiar with AC/DC drives and invertors - beneficial
Previous experience working in a automated manufacturing environment
Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc

Training and opportunity:

The company offer specific machinery training.

They will fund training courses in order to help engineers develop

Working within first class modern purpose build manufacturing facilities with the latest equipment, we will be looking for future team leaders and supervises to progress within the maintenance team
