Position: Test Engineer - Gas Appliances & Gas Controls
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum

About the role:
Join them a Test Engineer at their labs based in on the Loughborough University campus where they test both consumer and industrial electrical, electronic and gas products.
This role offers real diversity and variety, where one minute you’ll be in the lab undertaking some precision measurements and the next you’ll be at our client’s manufacturing facility, managing a time critical testing projects. Typical products that you'll be testing would be household cookers, boilers, catering equipment, gas fires, and BBQ's.
Strong communication and project management skills are at the heart of this role. You’ll have constant interaction and engagement with clients at a variety of levels, from technicians to Directors. This role also offers the possibility of travel overseas.
About you:
To be successful in this role you’ll need the skills to build relationships with our clients, understand their requirements and then deliver this work autonomously. You’ll be managing multiple projects so strong project management skills are a must. With this you’ll need to use your strong interpersonal skills to confidently present findings to our clients about their products.

You'll be qualified to Degree Level in engineering discipline (gas, chemistry, chemical, physics etc.) and have the ability to manage your own workload, project plan and meet deadlines.

In addition, you’ll be:- Resourceful and solution orientated.
- Proactive and flexible.
- Great attention to detail.
- Work under minimal supervision.
