Hexagon Housing owns and manages over 4,000 general needs homes in South-East London. We take pride in providing high quality services to our customers, and are committed to continuously improving our services, and putting residents at the heart of what we do.

Reporting to the Resident Involvement Manager, this is a new post within Hexagon and one where you will have the initiative to enrich Hexagon's communication function even further.

We are looking for a creative and outstanding candidate, who is passionate about the communications function, to join our Resident Involvement team.

You will need to be experienced in implementing media strategies, with outstanding writing skills and, ideally, an interest or background in promoting residents or community involvement. You will be adept at writing plain English and in editing and proof-reading magazine articles and other content for our residents.

You will also have excellent IT skills and be proficient in social media channels and in writing online content within a professional context. You will coordinate the proactive and effective use of the digital communication, using your creative ideas to enhance the range of communication with residents.

You will be a team worker who supports other colleagues to deliver communications to residents. You will also be a self-starter with the ability to prioritise your work effectively and manage multiple projects whilst working to minimal supervision.

You will build and maintain relationships externally with residents and internally with colleagues, therefore excellent people and customer service skills are a must.

You will be joining an award-winning organisation committed to employee engagement, where every employee is valued and listened to. You will receive an excellent personal development, training and supervision to help you achieve your full potential.

Closing Date: Tuesday 2nd May 2017

Interviews will be held on Friday 12th May 2017
