Estate Agent Senior Area Manager
Location: York & Peterborough
Salary: £70,000

We are recruiting for a fantastic opportunity working for the largest estate and letting agents in York. As a Senior Area Manager you will play an essential role in leading the transformation of the organisation from the best single office estate agency in the UK towards a nationwide company, providing the same unrivalled levels of service as they grow.

As a Senior Area Manager you will be responsible for each manager to manage their teams within the branch including sales, lettings and administration and will report directly to the Managing Director.

You will be an integral part of the Support Centre team, who are primarily responsible for Recruitment, staff Learning and Development, HR, Finance, Marketing and IT.

Currently, the organisation has a team of 38 people and turnover around £1.6million and this is anticipated to double to over 50 people/£3 million turnover in the next 3 years.

Branch Strategy:

Turning data into action, being able to interpret figures and take immediate actions, coach the team on what to do and provide recommendations to MD about changes that need to be made. The candidate must be able to use figures and to understand and then address over and under performance in relation to targeted performance.

Coaching Development:

Must have a strong interest, desire and ability to coach others to high performance with a particular focus on first line managers, including coaching them how to coach others using metrics to drive coaching decisions.

Branch Management:

Over-seeing the day to day tasks and ensuring the smooth running of the branch. Taking responsibility for all aspects of our daily service delivery - lettings, sales, admin, viewing, valuations, offers, sales/let progression, property management, and dealing with any problems or complaints. Dealing with any staffing issues and involvement in recruitment decisions.

Knowledge of Estate and Letting Agency:

A minimum of 4 years estate agency experience across both sales and lettings. Candidates with lower years experience should be able to demonstrate a rapid rise in the industry.

Management Experience:

* Must have been responsible for a team with a minimum size of 15 people for at least 2 years

Coaching:

* Although not necessary to have direct training experience, must have interest and proven experience in developing others

Self Development:

* Must be able to demonstrate what they have done so far to further their own development

Intelligence:

* Should be able to demonstrate intellectual ability either through their education and/or our internal testing

* Salary of up to £70,000 (inclusive of car allowance)
