This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a successful, well-established, multidisciplinary consultancy based in the Cardiff office. The successful applicant will be working as part of a dynamic structural engineering outfit within a vibrant and modern multi-discipline office, a stone's throw from Cardiff city centre.

Our client has won a number of awards and has a superb reputation for mixing creative and innovative engineering delivery with a keen focus on employee development, well-being and motivation.

Current project workload includes defence, commercial, education, leisure and residential sectors and projects value from £100k to £50 million.

Working as a Senior Structural Engineer you will;

* Deliver scheme and concept designs.
* Deliver detailed design including full tender and construction packages.
* Attend client, design and site meetings.
* Management and development of engineers and technicians.
* Liaison with statutory authorities, architects, the design team and contractors.
* Preparation of fee proposals, input into project bids etc.

In order to be considered for this Senior Structural Engineer role you will;

* Have gained a Degree (BEng / MEng) in civil/structural engineering OR a first degree in a related discipline
* You will have gained Chartered Membership/Associate Membership of the ICE/IStructE, OR working towards chartership.
* You'll have gained a minimum of 5 years (or more) experience in building structures design.
* Strong communication, analysis, technical design and drawing skills.
* Marketing/business development skills.
* Self-motivated team player with good people skills.

Desirables skills:

* Basic AutoCAD and Revit skills.
* Knowledge of BIM.
