I am looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong Software Delivery skills to join a leading Manchester based organisation . The company are experiencing an exciting time significant investment being made in their recently approved technology strategy.

Working as part of the programme team you will be responsible for the successful delivery, of one or more projects, which could be IT or non-IT focussed, and associated outputs that meet programme and business needs. You will deliver exceptional service and value for money ensuring that projects meet time, cost and quality requirements. You will lead on and deliver key project processes and products, to include stakeholder risk, benefits and communications management. You will be responsible for effectively planning the whole project lifecycle - with approved clear migration from project to the organisation's BAU and will clarify Project critical path and ensure this is delivered. You will be expected to lead and motivate the project team, driving best practice, developing skills and ensuring learning are captured as well as actively support coach and mentor the Trainee Project Managers, driving best practice and demonstrating application of good governance and lessons learned specific to the current project

Key Skills

- An excellent understanding of project methodologies.
- Commercial awareness, budget setting.
- Prince2 accredited or similar relevant qualification is desirable.
- Demonstrate effective use different project management methodologies
- Ability to proportionately apply PPM tools to projects as appropriate
- Ability to resolve problems and adapt to change.
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
- Analytical skills at different levels of abstraction, problem solving
- Able to identify and articulate project milestones
- Goal directed - maintain focus on the business case objectives
- Ability to translate a vision into achievable goals and provide clear direction to achieve organisational objectives.
- Ability to lead by example to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of partners and stakeholders.
- Set challenging targets and support staff to achieve them.
- Manage performance of staff effectively.
- Demonstrable experience of leading projects to a successful conclusion
