Reporting to the Marketing Director, success will be measured by achievement of annual sales budgets for MPS, delivery of overall marketing plan/project milestones alongside cross functional teamwork

Ensure successful execution of innovative marketing plans, delivering tangible differentiation and value creation for the MPS Peripheral IV Catheter, Prefilled syringe and needleless access device portfolios.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, success will be measured by achievement of annual sales budgets for MPS, delivery of overall marketing plan/project milestones alongside cross functional teamwork.

KEY ELEMENTS

- Collect, analyse, forecast and consolidate market insights to build country plans and help define portfolio strategy;
- Design, develop, execute and monitor marketing plans to ensure successful delivery of marketing strategy;
- Leverage campaigns to maximise resources across: Territory Managers, the In-service team and Clinical Consultants;
- Liaise with European colleagues to share feedback on competitor activities and market trends
- Work with the Clinical team to translate clinical value and/or clinical studies into marketing actions;
- Manage portfolio and supply chain to ensure clarity at field sales on focus, and delivery of product to meet customer need;
- Support & where appropriate deliver product training programmes;
- Management and resolution of product issues/challenges as necessary including direct customer contact;
- Deliver customer centric materials and steer field team messages to market;
- Monitor and follow-up on performance versus objectives with monthly reports, sales & market analytics etc;
- Aid putting Customer Centricity messaging and segmentation into practice.

- MARKET SENSING

- Dedicate time and interaction with Key Opinion Leader's, external parties, field based teams to sense the market; - Identify macro trends;
- Analyse and develop insights;

- Communicate continuously with wider BD UK and as appropriate ie European marketing teams, Sales & Clinical, to share trends, competition behaviours, change in environment, feedback from the field, learnings from campaigns & initiatives.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

- Map business opportunities;
- Develop scenarios, business cases to identify and validate opportunities;
- Deliver tools to support product and competitor functional and financial comparison;
- Contribute to the development of business model (budget, ASR, strategic planning and review) for defined portfolio;
- Create and develop KOL network to relay BD's value proposition;
- Support partnerships with relevant 3rd parties to grow the business;
- Engage in product review discussions to influence BU strategy;
- Help develop strategy and tactics with management team to influence macro trends and drive marketing plan implementation;
- Work with MDM and European marketing to influence regional strategy and ensure local country implementation;
- Support the field sales and clinical teams in delivering our value proposition, via educational, materials & face to face training;
- Deliver copy, visual and advertising to support our value proposition in appropriate journals, on line etc.

- MARKETING COMMUNICATION

- Be the point of reference in terms of product and therapy area expertise at country or appropriate International level;
- Remain up-to-date as regards marketing trends and literature relating to key strategic growth drivers;
- Work with Clinical team to ensure sales force product knowledge and training and continuous support via meetings and teleconference updates;
- Identify local impactful events, congresses and target KOL;
- Work collaboratively with sales and marketing from other BD businesses on joint projects.
