The Company:

- Leading international organisation within the Aviation Engines sector
- Operating in the Aerospace, Defence and Security industry
- Worldwide exposure with over 60,000 employees
- Circa EUR15bn in sales in 2016

The Role:

- Key Account Manager/ Commercial Manager - Aviation Engines role supervising 6 Key Account Managers
- Heavily new business focussed role, developing business through existing and new leads
- Selling gas turbine engines/ helicopter parts to aerospace and aviation industry
- 10% UK Travel and some occasional travel into France
- You will responsible for managing and developing your own customer accounts.
- Specific responsibility for a key major account
- Role is a mixture of customer support management and business development
- Must be able to anticipate customers needs
- Predominantly based out of the office

The Ideal Person:

- Knowledge of the Aviation/Aerospace Industry is a must have
- Sales and Business Development Experience
- Capable of finding new business and evidence of achieving this
- Experience of creating Key Account business plans and strategy
- Ability to understand and create contracts
- Excellent financial skills and experience
- Demonstrable People Management skills
