You will be supporting the efforts to have a significant impact on the employability of students before they leave education. The client leverages technology to broker interactions between business leaders and young people to help them make critically important choices throughout their lives which render them more employable. The successful Quality Assurance Analyst will be based in stunning offices in Central London and will be part of a talented and dedicated team where social cause is at the heart of what we do.

The Quality Assurance Analyst is a unique individual, one who possesses an in-depth understanding of the business domain and customer needs to define new software requirements yet who also has deep technical expertise in testing including the ability to write test cases and use testing automation software.

As the Quality Assurance Analyst you will be responsible for:

* Working with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
* Effectively capture business requirements to write the user story
* Writing the acceptance criteria in the BDD (Behaviour Driven) orientation of business language
* Verifying that code meets the acceptance criteria, preferably through automated testing platforms
* Communicating effectively with developers on explanation of user stories and validating the end implementation of the requirements
* Communicating with management on product roadmap, backlog grooming, prioritization of requirements and fleshing out the sprint/release plans
* Communicating effectively with business stakeholders to acquire user feedback and refine requirements

The right Quality Assurance Analyst should have:

* A Degree - ideally in an IT related subject
* At least 3 years' experience in BA/QA role working in a project-based team environment
* Experience of automated testing software in a web-based environment (e.g. Fitnesse, Cucumber)
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* An ability to present written information in a structured, standardized and balanced way
* A pragmatic, and sometimes forceful, ability to think on their feet and seamlessly adapt to a fast-changing environment
* the ability to write comprehensive test cases based on user story narratives, report results and log faults with developers
* A good working knowledge of Google Documents
* A good understanding of Agile IT development

Any of the following would be advantageous to have:

* Any knowledge of a structured programming language (e.g. Python)
* Senior Stakeholder and Vendor Management experience
* Charity and/or nonprofit and/or UK education knowledge
