A phenomenal opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Manager to work for an internationally established first tier automotive supplier. This is an outstanding chance for an ambitious Logistics Manager in which you will be given the platform to showcase your skill set and further progress career.

The successful Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing all the activities within the logistics department including materials scheduling and production planning.

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing logistics activities within the plant.

Further responsibilities will include:

*Ensure customer satisfaction and supervise day to day production activities

*Manage the launch of new programs within the plant.

*Lead the logistics team and set PC&L objectives.

*Ensure adequate staffing, training and development of team members.

*Full responsibility of the master production plan

*Improve & enhance performance and relationships of suppliers and logistics partners.

*Monitor logistics performance and implement necessary improvement actions in coordination with other plant functions (Quality, Production System Efficiency).

Ideally, candidates will be degree qualified and have extensive experience of working within the automotive arena in a similar capacity whether it be Materials, Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

The Logistics Manager should be able to demonstrate a strong leadership and continuous improvement philosophy/background. Excellent communication, organisation and forward planning skills are a must have.
