An exciting opportunity exists for a HR / Finance Administrator to join a prestigious Private Equity firm. The successful individual will provide support to both the HR and Finance teams in a split role which ensures that the overall recruitment process runs smoothly as well as helping with finance duties. Sitting within finance and supporting the Finance Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for a bright and confident individual with previous payroll experience. An immediate start is required.

Job Description:

- Monthly submission of payroll to external payroll providers.
- Setting up new employees and removing leavers as well as other monthly adjustments.
- Review of monthly payrolls and updating of summary schedules.
- Arranging testing of candidates as required (psychometric, analytics).
- Preparing offer letters and contracts and sending out offer packs to new recruits.
- Additional checks as required (credit/criminal checks, residency, qualifications etc).
- Preparation and maintenance of HR records (filing system).
- Setting up appraisals and ensure all paperwork is complete and returned to HR records.
- Administration of the full end of year review process.
- Collection and initial coding of all invoices, cash and credit card expense claim forms.
- Arranging authorisation of invoices and expenses.
- Reconciliation of petty cash claim forms.
- General monitoring of absence/time keeping.


- The successful candidate will have strong academics and previous payroll experience.
- Previous experience working within Human Resources would be a distinct advantage.
- The successful individual will be bright, confident, hard working with a can do attitude.
- Strong communication, organisational, and timekeeping skills are also required.
