Frazer John Recruitment Digital & Marketing Division is working with a Manchester City Centre based growing professional services software provider in their search for a Digital Marketing Director. Already holding a large market share, our client is looking to grow this out through inbound sales generation and the Digital Marketing Director role in instrumental in this.

Reporting into a truly inspiring Marketing Director and dotted line to the CMO, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing inbound marketing strategies that optimise website and online content as well as improve Google search rankings.

Duties:

- Develop, implement and manage inbound marketing strategies that optimise website and online content, improve Google search rankings for selected keywords (SEO), and continually improve the effectiveness of PPC, display networks, social media activity and internal/external blogs.
- Lead the redevelopment of key websites to build web properties that deliver on inbound marketing strategy
- Lead a digital team, through a combination of direct reports and virtual working teams, to deliver on the inbound marketing strategy
- Manage both on-site and off-site SEO and PPC for the company.
- Collaborate with content marketing and blog contributors to create high-quality content around important, relevant terms.
- Manage of organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on site impressions, clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.
- Manage key conversion points in the marketing funnel, including landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead-generating forms.
- A/B test and continually measure the performance of these conversion assets.
- Collaborate with channel-specific markers (blogging, email, social media, etc.) in order to optimise each conversion path.
- Optimise marketing`s conversion paths and rates overall and drive marketing-qualified leads for sales team.
- Optimise the lead-to-customer conversion rate and increase funnel marketing efficiencies.
- Communicate online program results within the company and educate senior management and product teams on social media results and trends.
- Work with marketing communications to dramatically increase presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+ and all other social media hubs.
- Identify high traffic industry blogs and work with marketing communications to drive exponential growth of our presence within these online communities.
- Coordinate with marketing communications and graphic designers to successfully execute and manage online marketing campaigns.
- Measure all online marketing activity by developing and implementing program metrics and reporting procedures to track and steadily improve program effectiveness and program ROI.
- Be able to use Marketo marketing automation platform and implement rules and techniques for managing database records and executing and tracking inbound and outbound programs.
- Develop strategies for rapid conversion of website visitors to leads.
- Develop strategies for improving lead conversion; such as adjusting lead scoring thresholds and implementing activity-based thresholds to ensure hot leads are quickly identified.
- Ensure good integration between marketing automation and sales automation solutions to maximise the productivity of the inside sales team.
- Collaborate with the IT group and website developers to complete technology enhancements needed for marketing programs.

Required Skills:

- 5-10 years of B2B online marketing experience in fast-paced environments.
- Proven knowledge of and success with managing online marketing programs
- Very strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to optimise marketing programs
- Extensive experience with online marketing tools including Google AdWords, online survey tools, website analytic tools (i.e., Google Analytics), etc
- Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative environment and manage programs with cross- functional teams comprised of business, technology and creative professionals.
- Proven ability to complete projects on time and on budget
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and navigate internal and external resources to generate results.
- Good leadership and problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Must be an independent self-starter that has a strong sense of urgency and an affinity for producing high-quality work that exceeds expectations
- A creative thinker with critical analysis and problem-solving skills, along with flexibility and a knack for thinking on your feet is essential in this role.
- Strong organisational skills and a strong attention to detail are a must.
