A Plymouth business with over 30 years experience in transforming commercial and educational spaces through interior planning and design now needs an Estimating Team Leader to join their excelling group in Estover. The chosen candidate will have the exciting responsibility of overseeing the Estimating and Design Team, becoming a crucial part of the company as they continue their successful reign as market leaders in the delivery of furniture and refurbishment projects.

As a team leader you'll have an unrelenting focus on all estimating and design projects. It will be your role to ensure that bespoke strategies are rolled out and implemented, defined timescales are met and customers receive expert support as their visions to improve their interior spaces become a reality.

The ability to maintain and improve upon the company's quality, accuracy and response time is very much desired. An eye for design, a solid understanding of space planning and a creative yet practical outlook on interior refurbishments is essential for any budding or experienced applicant thinking of stepping forward for this fantastic opportunity.

Core Duties:

- Office-based product research/selection and estimate/tender preparation.
- Liaising with suppliers; existing and new.
- Communicate with field sales representatives to understand the detail of the clients' needs following the visit of the representative.
- Distribution, management and monitoring of work to team members, ensuring appropriate team output in compliance with prescribed timescales.
- Providing inside support for on-site project managers, plus possible site visits.
- Supporting the inside sales team on incoming sales enquiries at peak times.
- Reporting to the Sales Director on all aspects of performance.

Person Needed:

- Honest, loyal and dedicated to customer needs.
- Meticulous attention to detail during time-sensitive tasks.
- Preferably some design ability and experience.
- Someone who can embrace and reflect the company's ethos and culture.
- Proficiency at problem-solving and providing positive solutions.
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications & CAD 3-D design.
- Enthusiasm and commitment to achieving great results.
- Maintaining the customer record management system (CRM).
