Mechanical Fitter - Special Purpose Machinery

Salary: £24k - £26k

The Opportunity:

My client, based in Leicestershire are looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to join their existing team working within the Special Purpose Machinery arena.

Day to Day Duties:

- Building Special Purpose Machinery to completion in accordance with engineering documentation

- Liaise with the design engineers, both mechanical and electrical

- Assessing shortages both within projects and on consumable items and informing other team members of shortages

- Installation of final equipment within the customer's facility

- Completion of modifications to ensure correct assembly of components

- Completion of Pneumatic circuits in accordance with the requirements of the machinery

- Testing & Fault Finding of the finished Machinery

- Disassembly of machinery and packing ready for shipment

Skills and Experience Required:

- You must have previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter with Special Purpose Machinery

- You must be able to read and understand engineering drawings

- Have the ability to problem solve during machine build, commissioning and installation

- All areas of mechanical fitting and assembly required to complete the machinery
