A local firm of Chartered Accountants are looking to recruit both an Accounts Senior and Accounts Semi-Senior to join their team due to the continuing growth of the practice. The Accounts Senior position is a brand new role to work with the business team but also to assist in the growing probate services. Previous experience of probate is not essential but you must have previous demonstrable experience of preparing accounts in a practice and be interested in tax and also be sensitive to working with people who are coping with bereavement.
The Accounts Semi-Senior role requires someone to prepare annual accounts, VAT returns and some bookkeeping duties.
To be successful in your application for either of these positions, you must have recent experience of working for an Accountancy practice. You will be able to think logically and work independently as well as be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines. These roles are available on either a full time or part time basis. Study support is also available.
