Assistant Contract Accountant
Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a multi award winning business based in Alfreton who are recruiting an Assistant Contract Accountant to join their established finance team. Responsible for the production of weekly results for the business in accordance with deadlines. This position covers two sites in Middleton and Daventry but is based from head office in Alfreton.
- Upload weekly journals in to the CODA finance system.
- Detailed analysis of key cost lines to facilitate budget and re-forecast processes.
- Formal review of the weekly costs and KPI's with both the Accountant and Operational management teams.
- Production of weekly management accounts pack, provided to Customer and operational management team.
- Assist in preparation of monthly reports and board papers.
- Liaise with both the Customer finance and operational management team.
- Work within the NFT finance function to deliver best practice in all areas.
- To provide cover for Contract Accountant when required.
- Provide ad-hoc information as required.
Who should apply?
- AAT qualified and keen to study towards either CIMA or ACCA
- Effective communication
- High competency with Excel (Pivots/Vlookups)
Working hours - Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm (To be flexible where necessary)
