To be successful in this Salon Manager opportunity, you will have:

*Previous Salon Supervisory or Management experience
*Ability to manage, coach and motivate a team

Key accountabilities within this Salon Manager opportunity include:

*Managing and motivating staff
*Conducting bi-monthly appraisals and addressing performance, attendance and timekeeping issues as appropriate
*Managing holiday and absence requests
*Ensuring communication structures are in place
*Ensuring policies regarding dress and appearance are maintained
*Attending Senior Management team meetings
*Representing the salon through shows, events, media etc
*Facilities management
*Strategically reviewing and improving client service standards together with the Operations Director and Styling Floor Manager
*Acting as a first point of reference for customer complaints
*Undertaking the role of 'maître d' as required
*Managing the apprenticeship programme
*Providing technical support and guidance for newly qualified staff
*Arranging product training for staff
*Acting as Fire Marshall
