It’s a rehabilitation service that aims to help individuals regain the best possible level of independence following an Acquired Brain Injury.We are experienced in helping people with particularly complex needs and with varying levels of dependence. We have a Home Manager who is a nurse with a background in acute neurosciences and community rehabilitation settings, closely supported by a Clinical Nurse Manager with over 9 years experience within this setting, both who will certainly appreciate your role and development needs. Our Home Manager and Clinical Nurse Manager are also supported by an experienced team of clinicians who fully appreciate the journeys of our residents so far and who collectively plan to support them achieve their full potential by providing high quality care to fulfil best possible outcomes."We enjoy visiting the home, not just to visit our brother, but also other residents who all appear to be happy and well cared for. It will be varied but the main focus will be on delivering hands-on person centred care to our service users and will include:Acting as a named nurseAdministering, reviewing and monitoring medicationsAssessing care needsPutting together care plans and reviewing them as and when necessarySupervising the care team to ensure that the shift runs smoothly and efficientlyPromoting choice, independence, dignity and respectAbout you……We expect that you will be a first level nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a current PIN.More importantly though, you’ll need to be passionate about what you do, and that means leading by example.
