Description

  • Lead 4 Settlement Analysts and 1 Team Leader
  • Ensure all disbursments are processed in accordance with defined processes and controls
  • To manage the team to ensure deliverables are consistently delivered
  • Maintain a robust Risk and Control Register for Settlements and Banking functions
  • Banking administration SME
Key Accountabilities

  • Full ownerhip and accountability of Settlments activities
  • Ensure no gaps in service within the Settlements team
  • Ensure settlements are actioned right first time
  • Ensure related documentation, such as process notes, RCR's and policy is current and fit for purpose
  • Evaluate, recommend implement continuos improvements to processes and procedures
  • Ensure new retailers/partners/products are set up according to contract requirements
  • Be the primary point of contact in respect of daily settlement issues
  • Ensure team members are fully trained on all aspects of banking and are update to date with current processes
  • Banking administrator for all banking facilities
  • Support banking initiatives and programmes
Additional Responsibilities

  • Support the wider team as required
  • Support Senior Manager, Disbursements Finance and Head of Financial Operations as required.

Profile

  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • 3 year + experience of processing settlements and proven accurate track record.
  • Demonstrates adherence to relevant regulations & company policies
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with commitment to high standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow process flows and ensure correct outcomes
  • Proficient use of excel
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop cross functional relationships with Operations and also with external clients
  • Team player
Desirable

  • Knowledge of online banking and clearing bank processes.
