The role:
As business development manager, your main responsibilities will be generating new leads, chasing these leads and closing deals in order to grow profitable revenues for the company by selling a range of event sponsorship/ corporate event solutions. You will be targeting corporate companies ranging from SMEs to global sized organizations and building lasting relationships with these clients, this will be consultative sell. You will be working in many different industries, for example within the travel industry. You will also be in charge of managing accounts and building relationships with clients but you will be primarily focused on new business. The role will require you to get to a Cardiff based office.

The candidate:
The successful business development manager will have good experience within a similar role and can work under pressure to meet and exceed their sales targets, a hunger and drive to succeed is key. Direct sales experience is a must and event sponsorship/ corporate events experience is also desired. The business development manager will need a strong work ethic, resilience and you should enjoy new business sales.

The package:
As technical sales engineer you will be offered a basic salary of £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience and a strong commission structure with an OTE ranging between £70,000-£80,000, car allowance, pension, health care, etc. As well as this generous package the company is keen to offer great opportunities of growth and progression within the company to the successful candidate.
