Job Description

Interview Date: Week Commencing 29 May 2017

Working Pattern: 17.45 to 20.00 two evenings per week

Deliver and supervise all gymnastic class participants and ensure their safety by adhering to the facility Normal Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plans and deliver gymnastic instruction at the appropriate level.

Fife Council pays the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate to employees earning less than £8.33 per hour. If the hourly rate of pay for the post is less than the Scottish Local Government Living Wage Rate a supplement will be paid.





Requirements

UKCC Level 2 Gymnastics or equivalent.

Before your offer of employment can be confirmed, you will be required to obtain a disclosure check through Disclosure Scotland.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver fun and innovative gymnastic lessons to children of all abilities, in line with the relevant Gymnastics award scheme.
  • Promote the gymnastics programme and provide information of alternative products and services.
  • Undertake CPD and appropriate additional training in accordance with the employee development scheme.
  • Operate in accordance with the organisations guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Observe operational and health and safety procedures to ensure appropriate management of vulnerable groups.
  • Ensure the safe set up and preparation of equipment.

The Individual

It is essential that the applicant has:
  • UKCC Level 2 Gymnastics coaching qualification or equivalent.
  • Good levels of customer care.
  • Able to work alone and as part of a team.
  • Good level of Interpersonal and Communication skills.
