Business Development Manager / New Business Sales Consultant is required for sales of software application development services into the mid-market. Experience of Software Sales or IT Sales is not essential but you must be capable of managing complex sales opportunities with a consultative sales / solution sales methodology.

The person:

- Minimum 2 years' new business sales experience in a consultative sales / solution sales environment
- A consultative salesperson comfortable discussing business needs at Director Level and controlling complex, multi stage sales opportunities
- Capable of identifying and engaging with multiple decision makers and influencers in a credible and charismatic manner
- Commercially aware and enthusiastic about applying technology solutions to solve business problems
- Articulate, tenacious and ambitious with a high degree of personal integrity
- Motivated by working alongside and learning from exceptional professionals
- Experience of IT Sales / Software Sales is desirable but not essential
- Ideally based in the North West but location is flexible because you won't need to be in the office every day and a lot of time will be spent visiting clients

This organisation will be able to offer a suitably attractive package to a candidate with the relevant experience and demonstrable sales achievement. Basic salary is likely to range from £26,000 to £28,000 and there is an uncapped OTE of £44,000 to £50,000. It could be higher for exceptional candidates. A car allowance is also available.
