The Role

We require a senior sales professional to join our highly successful sales team based in the North of England. The focus will be new business sales and account management and development within major multinational accounts throughout the UK with responsibility for gaining, retaining and developing business within the FMCG, Industrial, Manufacturing,Food,Ready Meal, Drink, Fresh Produce, E-Retail, and other competitive sectors.

The successful candidate with be the link between internal and external networks and manage the whole sales cycle of lead generation, contract negotiation, new packaging projects, New Product launches and sales development initiatives within the targeted sectors and clients.
.
There will be some requirements for business travel throughout the UK network of manufacturing sites and clients and potential for European reach.

The Candidate

You will be an outstanding senior Sales Professional who can demonstrate a record of sales target over achievement to date. Whilst a background in the Print/ Packaging sector would be useful, applications are welcome from candidates currently employed in senior sales roles in any competitive market sector.

The successful candidate will demonstrate significant senior level sales success to date and be comfortable working strategically at board level. You will be a strong negotiator passionate about winning major new business sales involving complex contract negotiations.

You will be commercially astute with exceptional organisational and presentation skills and the ability to form excellent internal and external networks. Specific technical knowledge is not essential, it is more important that you are comfortable in a targeted new business sales role offering a consultative solution.
