International Technical Organisation based in Tyne & Wear

Analyses and interprets financial and supply chain data. Produces regular and ad hoc financial reporting to assist decision making and strategical planning within the business. Supports FP&A functions for the EMEA region. Monitors and reports on supply chain activity, highlighting areas of concern and potential efficiencies. Suitable for a highly numerate individual with a good understanding of how a business can capitalise on statistical analysis. Extensive travel within Europe will be a requirement (twice per month - 2/3 days at a time).

- Producing monthly financial information pack including customised Sales and P&L reporting for different users.

- Producing monthly and quarterly commission reports based on sales targets
- Providing various financial analyses to meet statutory accounting and tax requirements
- Supporting the development of annual sales and expense plans; including liaision with international counterparts
- Performing further financial analysis and reporting as required
- Revising and developing financial reports as requirements evolve
- Proactively highlighting business deficiencies and potentials via data analysis
- Analysing Supply Chain data to help provide an efficient service to customers
- Analysing inventories to ensure efficiency
- Collaborating with various departments to help develop business practices which consider different perspectives

- Maintaining clear communications with colleagues at all organisation levels, including international partners in USA and Europe.
- Regular travel in Europe to visit European offices
- Meeting strict reporting deadlines
- Additional duties as assigned
- The role will evolve over time as analytical requirements change in our fast-moving business environment


- Strong numeracy skills (Finance Qualification - CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
- Excellent Excel and general IT skills
- Financial or Supply Chain experience
- Willingness to travel extensively within Europe (twice per month - 2/3 days at a time)
- Skill in analysing and interpreting financial data
- Accuracy in working with large amounts of data total
- Assume responsibility for timeliness of work completion
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality


- An appropriate qualification in a numerical subject
- 2-5 years prior experience in a Financial or Supply Chain role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills
- Experience in high tech industry preferred
- Experience in multinational business environment preferred
