JOB SPECIFICATION: Head of Marketing – Retail
Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, you will be the Brand & Campaign lead in understanding what makes the retail channel tick. The role requires a first class communicator to manage numerous stakeholders. You will be responsible but not restricted to the following tasks:-
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Head of Marketing – Retail
* Ensure annual plans are in place in line with budgets and forecasts.
* Effectively manage and control the marketing budget to deliver ROI.
* Lead above the Line (TV, Press Radio) Campaigns
* Manager a head office and Regional marketing team.
* Support the Marketing Director to deliver a coordinated planning process by working as a virtual team.
* Ensure written, detailed plans together with appropriate KPIs exist for all integrated promotional activity.
* Where relevant, manage the tender process with agencies to maximise agency engagement and ROI.
* Deliver an innovative approach to execute all customer communications to maximise the opportunity for impact within our target audience.
* Constructively challenge business requirements to drive out KPIs and deliverables, including managing risk.
* Support the Head of Marketing Communication & Brand and the Marketing Director to select appropriate agencies to deliver and respond effectively to the business requirements.
* Work with your direct, wider and virtual team to effectively guide, coach and mentor the people within the team to deliver the programmes required.
